My BLOG isn't earning....

Some of my friends have been asking me about my blog. Well, it's not earning but I'm enjoying it. It's been an effective stress reducer. I'm not a TV person because I hate commercials. When I'm in the mood, I'd rather read, text or blog...

Blogging seems to be the answer to my frustration of becoming a writer.

Vanity as a woman....

For the past few weeks, I was not in the mood to write. In fact, my blog serves as my online photo album since I've attended two consecutive wedding events. My focus has been on my look - my vanity as a woman. Imagine, the last formal occasion I attended was the wedding of my friend "Jenny," way back year 2000.

Dressing up in special occasion is rare to me, so why not take the chance! Then I usually ask my cousin "Dith" to play the role of an amateur photographer.

Isn't it amazing that I could preserve my pictures through my blog? At least, I have an outlet for my superficial inclinations. I know many women could relate with me, and there are some guys, too!!!

Enhance My TO DO List....

My TO DO LIST on my rest day:
1) tidy up my room
2) have a pedicure or body massage
3) check my friendster & send message to some friends
4) laugh with my friends (wia, beth, beteng, etang, eda, etc..)
5) buy & share my favorite merienda with my housemates - LUGAO with tokwa't baboy
6) and the most recent one, BLOG!!!

There's one thing I'd want to add but I don't have the motivation to do so...EXERCISE!!! I've just read recently that we need God's grace to carry out such activity....Well, to make my day off relaxing as well as rewarding....my first "TO DO LIST" should be "BONDING with GOD." I just thought of it while I'm writing my post now...

Starting tomorrow, my TO DO LIST:
1) Bonding with God 2) exercise............and the last one, BLOG and Thank GOD!!!

"Simplify and Live the Good Life"

While writing a post for my father which I just published to my other blog "Each Day Counts," I'm also chatting with my best friend Ailene. It's been a stressful day for me but I got some immediate relief. Finding time for your hobby and people you care for would help you live a happy life.

I'm not the workaholic type of person, I'm a lifeaholic! As much as possible, I want to work regular hours, not more than eight hours. I want to spend more quality time with my family, friends, and things that I love. I just want to enjoy life!!!

If you want to relish each day of your life, learn some insights from Bo Sanchez' book, "Simplify and Live the Good Life."

Thank you JOYCE!

It's been five days since I last published my post. I'm so glad that there are friends who keep on visiting me. Some of them are not into blogging, but they find time to drop their message at Cbox just to say "Hi." I'm so thankful that through my online journal, I could regularly keep in touch with my old friends and fortunately, have found new friends.

A simple "Hi" from someone who never fails to connect means a lot to me.

Thank you so much!!!

Live Twice - take pictures and blog!!!

Since I started with this hobby, my Canon Ixus camera has been a regular companion. Recently, I tried taking pictures in black and white and the results are quite amazing. Of course, my favorite subject is people. Since we're already in the digital era, you could take as many pictures as you want! I usually save my photos in my desktop, laptop, cd and usb. Imagine I've been using various back ups, just to safeguard memories.

Why not start living twice by capturing moments in your life by taking pictures and having an online journal? Original photos and nice thoughts will surely create a remarkable BLOG!

Don't Quit

Many times I fell...

but I rose and will rise again and again

who may not want an easy life -

a world free of troubles

The cliche,"problems are spices of life,"

seems meaningless thinking of the pains

felt by the human heart.

Storms in life have come my way

and I've overcome them...

It's because of strength - a grace which

I'm always asking from My Friend above

and to believe that the "only real failure

is to quit" enables me to continue live

and help live....

This was written in 1991. One of my first few compositions manually written in my notebook diary entitled "In My Moods." Before, I do write but I just write when I'm in the mood...And now, I don't only write for my blog out of my mood, but it has become my way of life since I started...

I feel it's about time to share some of my thoughts and feelings that I kept for years...It's about time to connect with others....It's about time to follow my real passion....It's about time to tell the world that, "I do care." It's about time to thank "My Family and Friends." It's about time to use my God-given talent and make a difference...It's about time to bring back all the praise and glory to "My Friend" above - the only reason why I "Don't Quit."

Follow Your Heart…

This is a beautiful text message I received from my friend:

“Always remember that the longer you stay with the things you don’t really enjoy equates to every moment you lose with what could be a happy life.”

I envy those who’ve been employed in jobs that they really enjoy. I must admit, I wasn’t able to choose the right course in college. So I landed a job that is not related with my real passion – writing. However, regret is something I won’t entertain in my mind because it’s a waste of time.

Anyway, no one can stop me from expressing my thoughts. I may not be paid but the joy of sharing a part of your self is fulfilling. At this moment, I’m grateful because in a way, I have followed my heart. I’ve found an avenue to communicate my thoughts and feelings – MY BLOG!!!
